Tutor Operations & Recruitment Executive

About the Role
Blue Education is looking for a highly organised and proactive Tutor Operations & Recruitment Executive to support the recruitment, management, utilisation, and performance of our tutor network.
The role is responsible for helping ensure we have the right tutors, with the right skills and availability, at the right time, while making effective use of tutors already within our database.
You will work closely with academic, operations, and client-facing teams to identify tutor gaps, support recruitment, maintain accurate tutor data, improve tutor utilisation, and help resolve tutor performance issues.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end recruitment of part-time tutors, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and onboarding.
Build and maintain a strong tutor pipeline across priority subjects and programmes.
Monitor tutor availability, subject expertise, skills, and utilisation.
Identify tutor shortages and proactively recruit to address gaps.
Review the existing tutor database before recruiting externally to improve utilisation.
Maintain accurate tutor profiles, availability, skills, and performance records.
Support internal teams in resolving tutor performance, communication, or conduct issues.
Communicate performance concerns professionally and support formal warnings or disciplinary processes where required.
Build strong relationships with high-performing tutors and support tutor engagement.
Produce regular updates on tutor supply, recruitment priorities, utilisation, and operational gaps.
Candidate Requirements
Previous recruitment experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
Strong problem-solving ability and a proactive approach.
Confident handling challenging conversations.
Comfortable working with databases, spreadsheets, CRM, or ATS systems.
Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across teams.
Preferred
Experience recruiting tutors, teachers, academics, or specialist professionals.
Experience working with freelancers, contractors, or a flexible workforce.
Experience with resource planning, workforce utilisation, or capacity planning.
Mandarin Chinese preferred but not essential.
